Éste es un problema de siempre entre éstos dos países. Y es que las rivalidades entre Perú y Chile no son por un reciente problema de delimitación marítima, ni tampoco por un partido de fútbol. Esto es el resultado de años de disputa de territorios, mares; de una lucha por saber quién es el más fuerte, por saber quién manda sobre quién.Muchos de éstos pleitos que ya tienen años de antigüedad, vuelven a aparecer en las cercanías de un encuentro futbolístico que nada tiene que ver en esto, pero de cierta manera se ve involucrado, ya sea por los mismos "hinchas", jugadores o hasta los medios de comunicación.
Pero ahora, a sólo horas de que se empieze a jugar el "Clásico del Pacífico", todos debemos ser concientes de que los problemas políticos, históricos, culturales, etc, no deben de entremezclarse con el fútbol. Con este deporte que nos brinda a los peruanos muchas tristezas, pero cuando nos ponemos la blanquirroja de "corazón", logramos encender las gargantas de todos con el grito repirmido del "GOL".
